02 Recognizing stressors, building resources
Health is a precious gift – and what you love, you take care of!
State-of-the-art laboratory procedures now enable us to comprehensively assess important health determinants, such as comprehensive stool diagnostics, microbiome analysis and the measurement of oxidative stress. These go beyond the basic diagnostics of conventional medicine.
Micronutrient deficiencies are on the rise
As well as the fundamental need for an improved microbiome, more and more people are suffering from micronutrient deficiencies. A targeted micronutrient analysis can help determine individual needs, thus ensuring an adequate supply of essential vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids. The energy metabolism depends on a proper supply of these essential nutrients and forms the basis for performance and vitality.
Personalised nutrition by means of genetic analysis
All of our treatment concepts also take nutritional approaches into account, so that you can continue to give your body what it needs in the future. This includes any deficiencies in essential nutrients, increased consumption due to stress or sporting activity as well as any specific intolerances or allergies, among other things. Personalised nutrition with the help of genetic analyses is therefore becoming increasingly important in the prevention of metabolic diseases. This mainly concerns a healthy diet, in which the correct proportions play a crucial role: we can only stay healthy if we (can) digest everything we eat. Genetic analysis helps you to put together meals with the right proportions of fat, protein and carbohydrates. A certain amount of healthy fats, for example, might be just right for one person and too much for another and thus overburden their metabolism.
While traditional medicine is often forced to concentrate on treating the symptoms, we can go straight to the causes. Optimally selecting and weighting the individual measures can achieve clear health effects. Since the body’s own self-healing powers are activated, such effects are also long-term.
My therapy starts where the body’s control loop has ceased to function or is impaired. Body and soul become balanced again. The defences and the immune system are effectively strengthened, you feel fit and revitalised. A tangible improvement is even possible in the case of serious illnesses and significant complaints.
Essential participants: the intestines and the liver
If our food and eating habits were ideal, our environment unpolluted, our lifestyle balanced and we were healthy, we would not have to worry about detoxing. However, everyday stress creates an imbalance that takes its toll, especially on the gut as the nerve centre of our health, and the liver, since it is the most important detoxification organ. Long-term detoxification of the gut and liver as well as the targeted activation of the lymphatic system for the removal of waste products and deposits play a decisive role in treatment.
Let's not forget the psyche
Mental stress can lead to serious illness. At the same time, physical complaints are mentally stressful and this can create a vicious circle which can eventually lead to burnout. Besides physical health, we therefore also focus on psychological health factors and mental wellbeing. The aim is to restore balance to the vegetative nervous system. If tension becomes permanent, the body forgets how to relax. Digestive processes are then compromised since the parasympathetic nervous system, which triggers recovery, regeneration and digestion, hardly has a say. Nowadays, fitness trackers record heart rate variability as an expression of neurological stress. Creating mental and physical balance is essential for long-term health and to build up a repository of personal resources.
Recommended diet during the treatments
Recommendation for menu planning: The organism can mobilise and deacidify waste more easily if the diet supports metabolic relief. You should thus eat light, alkaline food during the treatment period. The following are ideal, for example: potatoes, rice, quinoa, soups and vegetables.
You should avoid the following during treatment: Raw vegetables, salads and whole grain products are rather difficult to digest and should be avoided during treatment. You should also avoid foods that cause bloating, such as cabbage, legumes, onions, cauliflower or leeks. The positive effect of these foods on health is beyond question, however their flatulence-inducing properties would have an unpleasant effect on colon hydrotherapy. Sweet fruits with a high content of fructose and protein-rich foods such as meat, sausage products and cheese should also be avoided, as a main focus of treatment is deacidification of the tissues.
